The Nemio XG also features 3 probes of extraordinary clinical value for head and neck ultrasound. All probes are broadband in design - at any given time, multiple frequencies are used during the transmit and receive phases to deliver optimum imaging.
 
The PLM-1204AT probe is a 32 mm wide probe with selectable center frequencies between 8 to 14 MHz. When in the 14 MHz selection, the probe operates at 12 to 16 MHz due to its broadband frequency design. This means the probe delivers very high resolution for head and neck structures within 2 to 4 centimeters from the surface of the skin.
 
The PVM-662AT probe is a small footprint, convex arrray probe with a tight radius of curvature that provides fast and accurate visualization of the FNA needle and thus very precise FNA needle guidance. This broadband 6-8 MHz probe has a center frequency selection of of 8 MHz from which it scans at 10 MHz.
 
 
The PVF-745 probe is a small footprint convex array probe with higher frequency and a less tight radius of curvature. This broadband 5-10 MHz probe has a center frequency selection of 10 MHz from which it scans at 12 MHz in the near field.
